because of the enormous pet overpopulation problem in our community we have committed to keeping our donations local and the main recipient of those funds is pet community center.  pet community center saw a problem and set their sights on fixing it, starting with opening nashville’s first low-cost spay and neuter clinic in 2014.  they are working to make nashville one of the most animal friendly cities in the country by focusing on life saving programs such as low-cost and free spay and neuter, open adoptions community wide, pet safety net programs which keep pets out of shelters, and strong community collaboration.  their spay and neuter clinic is a member of the humane alliance mentorship program.

beginning in 2010 kody's fund began hosting an event, rock n' roll for pup control, with all proceeds benefitting pet community center (2012 to current).  it is a night full of music, food, beverages and fun.
